Serious problem need help FAST PLEASE!

Okay a few months ago my car started acting all weird like it wanted to choke or die. Yesterday I did a tune up and the car ran fine the whole day. This morning I'm off to fill out an application for work and it was fine TILL I came to a stop at a red light and the car tries to die and like choke but it doesn't.... I seriously don't know what the problem is anymore and I won't pay $100 for the dealership to just check it since I'm really poor right now but is really pissing me off though ... I just checked the fuel filter and fuel pump and they're clean and they work properly. Please let me know what you guys think the problem might be thanks.

<<< Do you know how much injectors are?

Check engine light is not on. I just ordered a new PVC valve it gets here on friday. I'm going to add some of that fuel injector cleaner to see if that fixes the problem or helps with gas mileage. I might also try some of that sea foam too... I hope this problem is fixed quick cause man it's a headache...

I've had pretty bad gas mileage from a while back but I just added the fuel injector cleaner and hopefully with the new PVC valve it will help. I use 87 octane most of the time but when I can afford I use 91 octane as much as I can. Octane levels here in CO are 85-87-91.

i didn't think the octane mattered that much, we have 87, 89, and 91 here, i just use 87, unless you use liek 101 octane i dun think it will matter that much, unless you have a high performance engine, its just more money if u ask me

well I did the test on my car and the 91 octane lasts slightly longer than the 85 and 87 octanes so I dk I guess it really don't matter though as long as it doesn't waste that much gas.

You know what, my rolla did the same thing, so I changed out my plugs, changed the PCV, oil, and all the other regular maintenance on top of seafoam - hasn't happened since. I'd pull your plugs to check if any of em are bad.

yea I'm facing it man and with all the pain in my heart I'm selling the car.... I'll maybe buy another rolla maybe a 01 or 02 down the road but right now I need a daily driver cause my current rolla is screwing me over.... I'm fixing it so it stops shaking and stuff and it's gone for good this time...
