    bring up old ones (56k death)

    alright everyone.. this is some stuff i did way way way way way back in the day so.. some of it is alright, some sucks but...

    dude, how do you get the paint right on the bumpers that you add?!? i never got it right... i tried doing this and i cant get the paint right...

    i did those in paint shop pro 7... back when i used it.. i haven't fully figured the touch on photoshop... all i remember was it was a pain in the ass getting them to match the tone and everything, but once there u could apply any color imaginable to it.. part of it is also finding a picture of the kit with the same type of paint (like metallic, non metallic, makes a huge difference) and similiar lighting...

    i just did a very crappy one just to see if i could do one in 5 minutes... but basically, i copied the bumper and pasted it into a new window.. adjusted the color balance a little, used a hint of lighting affects (under filter -> render) and messed around with the brightness, and got something close. wasn't perfect, wasn't trying.. the color was close but the edges were real sloppy.. normally if i were doing that, i'd get the bumper as close as i could to the color and paste it on, or use some of the paint already on the car (or the original bumper) to create the shadows and glares to make it look more realistic.

    then again me, i like changing paint so, i'd prolly change the paint color of the whole car once i got the bumper close...

    oh. cool... i used photoshop 7... ima try it still... but my pc is not working ryt now... i need to format the drive... so ima do it later...
