Corotezza!
And you will need some tiger theme on your fender to match it up.
I think you just need to get the 01 bumper and use some fiberglass+bonde to to fill in the gap of the headlights and corners.

so you want to keep your original headlights and corners, and just switch bumpers? that would be some fabricating around the headlight openings on the bumper...not sure what else, i'm no body(wo)man.

    What's so special about it?

I'd rather have the flat lights on my 01. There's a much better selection of bumpers. Anyone seen someone put a 98-00 kit on an 01?

Any idea who did it? I'd love to see how it turned out. I like the kit selections for the 99-00 better than the 01-02.

yah the guy that did it calls his car a cortezza cause he did the altezza conversion for the rear. i don't care much for it. but yah i have a 01 bumper lying around in my garage and was wondering just how hard it would be. just "wondering". if it's do-able for a beginner. i worked with fiberglass before but this looks a little harder.

Wow, I just checked out his car. That guy definately has a little too much 'flair' for me.

I'm actually looking for someone with the opposite. I have an 01 and I want a 99-00 bumper. I'm looking for someone that has this done without swapping headlights.

THAT is impossible, unless you cut/remold the bumper.

no, it's rather easy to see why it wouldn't work. the bumper won't line up correctly without cutting/molding it.

I have no problem cutting and molding it. In fact, I'm picking up a front bumper from my friend's 240 and I will be cutting and reglassing it to fit my Sundance. I'd just like to know how much cutting and where ahead of time it possible. But I wasn't even thinking about the grill portion either, I forgot thiers is seperate.

I don't recommend you to CUT the bumper. You will weaken the structure.
    I think it's not a "Can or Can't" problem, it's a "Should or Shouldn't" problem.

uhmmm... wow... how many of u have done custom bodywork?

well.. in this case fiberglass bondo is NOT gonna work.. the material of ur front bumper is ABS, and its a kind of plastic, whole different world.. now they do make stuff for abs.. you'd hafta read the instructions for it...

as for loosing weakness.. yea, it might loose some integrity.. but you're not modifying an area thats going to require a lot of stress placed on it.. not to mention most of the chemicals used to repair ABS are stronger than u may think. and fiberglass body kits.. hell u wanna repair em.. use some fiberglass bondo, and its twice as strong as it was before...

as for lining everything up.. i'm not looking at both cars side by side.. but.. off of memory... the bottom of the 98-00 style and 01-02 style should be very close minus the dip for the high beams.. and the sides of the grill where it meets the headlight... as for where the bumpers bolt up to everything and meet with everything except for the headlights, every go look at body parts for corollas.. there's a reason why most everything is for 98-02 corollas minus the headlights and front bumper...

as for difficulty level... for a newbie.. cause u'll hafta cut out of ur stock bumper or buy another stock bumper to cut out of.. maybe a 6 outta 10... between making straight cuts that match right, using the right materials properly, giving it time to cure, sanding things down to where its nice and smooth, then adhesion promoter then primer then paint...

and for anyone with a decent eye.. looks to me like that 01 front end is photoshopped on there anyways... could be wrong, image is pixelated anyways...
