How's your gas mileage?

Hey guys, just wondering how your gas mileage change from city to highway, because mine is weird. My 95DX with 70k miles, will range from around 40MPG on highway to 10-14MPG pure city??? Is this normal? I calculated my highway with a single tank trip from Indiana to Chicago, at 400miles clocked, I was about empty. And for city, I set the counter to zero when I fill up and see when it is about empty, right now it's at the dash before empty, and I'm about 147miles. So to me, my car's MPG really ranges...yours?

same here i found my 95 use up way more gas in city... highway isn't that bad but i don't think my rolla get 40mpg though... cuz mine is 1.6L w/ 3spd auto so it kinda sux on highway

25 mpg i drive alot in city and highway, i find i can get more mpg on colder days for some reason. 20mpg if i drive stepping on it

do u drive really slow in the city? or u drive it hard like there is no tomolow??

I drive normally 10 over the speed limit but 1/3 of the time I do 3/4 throttle or full...so I redline only the first gear "about" once a day

man mine I only get 200 - 218 on a tank of gas. Thats city and about 230 highway. my 2001ce has had alot of engine mods on it and has almost 4k miles on it right now.

OK, I just got 178 miles out of one gas tank doing pure city. This is weird, I have one of those Procarparts aka eBay short ram intakes, which I guess is screwing up my gas mileage because it's sucking in hot air and making the car run rich probably. But would it affect it that much? I just had 60k maintenance like a year ago so all my engine fluids, components..etc are pretty much new.

P.S. Just had my PCV valve changed a month ago too.

300 a tank

96 DX, averaging 27 mpg, city and highway.

I have a 91 mazda mx6 with 192k and I get about 22 23 mpg city and some highway.

My 02 has like 70K on it and I get like 300 highway and like 200 city miles of course

I have a 98 i get 250 highway 220 city

03 corolla mostly highway over 75mph on ave. 29-30 in the winter. 32-34 in the summer (before hyper voltage system) 30-32 in the winter 33+ in the summer after install of HVS.

auto vs manual makes a big difference in mpg too - but mine is definitely better in pure highway driving. when we drove up to NOPI in atlanta last year I was gettin 400 miles+ to a tank cuz it was nothin but highway cruising. In town here I mostly drive highway too (live 30 miles from work) and usually get around 330-350 if I'm really easy on the gas.

so that means I get around 29-30 in town and prob around 33-35 on highway.

'98 with 162k..32mpg mixed city/highway.

Well then, it's official, my car's MPG is teh sux...

hey! guy i tested my auto 96 rolla last week.
i pumped only $8 for the 91 gasoline and i get almost 90 mph for 3.2 gallons( city and highway). so it not bad at all. I had the BOmz SRI in my car and i was really easy on the gas.
