That sucks about your headlights. You should never run a wattage higher than your car was rated for. If you do, you need to get an upgraded headlight harness and make sure you don't use cheap bulbs.

I guess I'm fuzzy on this whole issue. I still have hyper bulbs waiting to install.. I've been too busy to install them, plus my hood won't open (I think the release button is stuck or something). I should just take it to a dealer and get it installed.. how does the upgraded wire harness work? Do you run the wire all the way back to the battery? I'm assuming you have to run your own wire since the harness doesn't seem to be long enough.. Should I just buy a wire harness at like NAPA or autozone and bring it in somewhere? I'm glad I read this because I've been told I'm fine without a harness (seems like the package has an actual rating and then actual output "sort of like windchill factor". I think I'm ok, but it will likely run hotter and shorten the life. I'm thinking I don't want to take the risk, glad I read this thread.

Toyota was selling this kit for 44 bucks. Matrix made it, sort of acts like a voltage regulator so your stuff doesn't blow. I found this out after. Just go to your nearest performance shop. Dont go to the dealer, they screw you over.

On the other hand I have those M3 Lights, I had to disconnect them too, because I didn't want to have any hassles. Where can I hook those up to now, I did have them running into the heads.

    Cost?

How much for the full kit and whatever else. is 800 much?
It's seems real low. I have 18's with 40's on now with stock springs.

2 Inches Crazy. Skyline Kit For Rolla S 03+

Thats just crazy bro, how do you drive? 2 inches...I dont know. I'm lookin at some Eibachs that drop about 1.5 now. Maybe I will just sell the kit. I seen a kit from AUTOBACS in OC. It was a Skyline kit for the Rolla.

I ran some 90w Eurolites and they lasted over 2 years on my car. Never had an issue with them or the harness. When i traded in the rolla, i did look at the harness and the actual part that plugs onto the light bulb was a little dark brown...but no damage ot the harness itself.. *shrugs*
