Why you on zoloft? Zoloft is an anti-depressant...not an anger management drug. Its also prescribed to those that have compulsive personalities.

Zoloft has so many side effects.....anyone I know that has taken it has ended up getting off of it because it screwed them up even more.

    Yes Yes,
I hear good things about Zoloft, to bad I'm taking welbutrin.
I must talk with my shrink about the possibility of trying zoloft.
As you know they ( The Doctors ) dont like to switch if what they prescribed allready works.

Damn...sure are a lot of loonies on this board.

Joking, joking, joking. I have in laws that are on these medications. And they should be too!

And Ambien is in a totally different catagory.

no andree, there really are a lot of loonies on this board.

What is this like 10% of the board population is medicated? That's absurd!

No pill here, I broke my habit.

I was on Ritilian, Prozac and then Aderall. over the course of 13 years, then I said screw it I am going pill free.

I have ADHD, which is a little bit of a hinderence but I have learned to deal with it

Now pain killers are different, only Percocet's, Vicadian and Oxcoydin work, other that nothing works, which means that headaches suck

I still take Ritalin along with welbutrin and If I decide to stop taking them my marraige would suffer greatly let alone focusing is out the door.
Hey RollaO2, Have you been to www.addconsults.com?
I have been to a group setting Kinda like Scanners only a buch of Add'ers like me and if there are any norms in our simi circle it's their spouse or friend that comes along.
    Have you been to any?
I think chadd has the hookup.
Would you believe they have an annual ADD conference either in the midwest west or eastcoast......check them out if you want.

Prozac here, peeps. Good stuff, for a while. Then it just all kind of goes to crap. And, you know, when you stop taking that stuff cold-turkey, you get the flu (or what feels like the flu). So, I've resorted to just kind of taking it periodically.

You folks wanna talk about some shitty medication....Effexor, I feel, may just be the downfall of mankind. It makes people just plain not give a shit about ANYTHING. You're just kind of a zombie. And coming off of it...oh CRAP....if the depression doesn't kill you, the withdrawal syndrome will!

    Late,
    Trav

Zoloft for me at least... the only side effect there is, is me acting normal and craping regularly. I also have more energy and sleep a shit load less.

I'm med-free, but I work at a pharmacy. I have heard good things about Effexor XR and Zoloft. Actually, we have people here on those and a few on Prozac too. So even the people giving out the meds need a little for themselves ;)

think about it, walking around with a raging hard-on all day long!.....aside from being annoying and embarrasing, it'd damage your bloodvessels and you'd never be able to get it up without viagra...

I remember a couple people who screwed around and took 1/2 a viagra in HS, they said it sucked, and it hurt after a while like that. lol
