anyone else around here a fan of Maynard and his various musical endeavors? i just got re-addicted to APC, and i can't stop listening to them. Noose is probably my favorite song, followed by Blue.

anyone know of any bands that sound similar to Maynard's stuff?

Dredge has been around for a while but they had been compared to tool. Awesome voice and very creative. Young guys too. First album of Chevelle(Point # 1)
was compared to tool a little but that's because in "Mia" he hit a certain note that sounded like Maynard and "Mia" the video was a lil toolish...haha that's the only reason why i believe

Drummer, I LOVE chevelle, especially the "wonder whats next album" , but all 3 albums are great!

Chevelle has to be one of the worst acts I have ever seen. Dude could not hit a note right, guitarist was all over the place, one second to fast, next too slow. Fucking sucked. I wanted my money back and they were the opening act. Needless to say they got boo'd off stage. Chevelle = soundboard mastered shit

Tapeworm - It was a side project of Maynard's, Reznor's, and a few other big name people. I have a few concerts that Maynard did here in NC. One was APC and the other TOOL.

Why look for the same kind of music from a different band? If it's the same they're a copy. Same old shit is boring, that's why I hate most rap, same tired ass beats used over and over and over. Get some fucking talent.
