    How many miles?

    What do you mean by "my exhaust occassionally emits white smog"? Does this happen just when you start up? If it's white, then that's water... possible head gasket problem. If the rings were gone you would be getting blue smoke.

    nah, i'm not getting the blue smog, but the white one, yes... my mechnic told me that my engine is already eating up oil, is that one symptom too?

    The blueish smoke is easily confused with white, are you having to put oil in all the time? It would puff a big plume of smoke at start up if the rings were completely shot. Sounds like the problem might be valve guides or gaskets or both if you are burning some oil sometimes. Here's a little info for everyone who might wonder;

    White smoke = Coolant/water
    Blueish white smoke = Oil
    Black smoke = Fuel(running rich)

    blue smoke is the sign of leaky oil but i dun think white smoke hav to do w/ oil... must be something hav to do w/ your cooling system...

    turbo your ride, and the smoke will disappear. It works!
