    question about video files

just wanna ask what is the difference bwteen asf, mpeg and avi files? is there one better than the other?
i've seen the short clips of all 3 types and i have to say that asf is the worst but also the smallest file.
which one would u recommend for uploading to a website for people to see? it would be just a short 2-3 min. video.

    thanks

Hm... I dont know everything but here's what I know.
Mpeg is best, AVI, then asf. ASF you can't cue the video, just let it play all the way through. You might want to use Mpeg or AVI and change the resolution so the file size is smaller, and use more compression.

thanks. i've been playing around with digicam movie clips (in avi format) and camcorder clips. seems like digicam short movie clips is the way to go for websites. easy to upload and files not too big.
