    h tech vs. s tech

Anybody experienced the difference between the two? I'm looking into swapping out the S techs for H techs. Anybody have pictures of the H tech on 02 corolla? Anybody selling the H techs? Best place to buy H techs? S techs are too low for daily driving. Looking to swap them out. Anybody wanna trade, let me know.

H-techs = not quite as low and a little more comfort... s-techs = very low drop and less ride comfort

i had s.techs first on my 99, but way too low for good old CA roads, but they were really stiff compared to the h.techs, which i like, the h.techs do give a bit more than the s.techs but they provide a nice ride height, so if uu r lookin for low and stiff go s.tech (but u have to be careful on turns w/ dips or any bumps while turning especially otherwise your front fenders will come down on your tires in the turn, trust me i know or if u want more comfort and reliability then go h.tech. i loved the firmness of the s.techs but they were just too low to drive in So Cal and for turns for the 98-02 models, they need to make the h.techs w/ the s.techs firmness

I got H techs and there friggin awesome! Lower than stock but not too low and sporty but not back breaking. There good for the daily drive and spirited driving.

H tech has panzy ass spring rates, S tech has semi decent ones.

    ALL done!

While the message board was down for like a month, I swapped out the Tein s techs and got some goood ol' TRD springs. Wow, what an improvement. I'm riding on tokico's with TRD springs. The final straw broke my back when I was driving down the 241 toll road in Ca and I ran over a hump, springs were so stiff I almost lost control and crashed. S tech spring rates were so stiff that my car had trouble accelerating because the excessive vibration would interfere with the transmission. Word of advice, I've tried the TRD and the Teins, TRD is 500% better! Ride is just right, spring rates are perfect with the tokico's. Will put up pics once I have time. Also got a TRD radiator cap to improve cooling!

what kind of tokicos do you have? where you got them from? I just got my car lowered with TRD springs and my next project is getting some good struts to go with the trd springs.

You can get the tokico blues off ebay. Just do a search. Again, the ride is excellent. I can honestly stand by what I say. Sorry, I sold the Tein springs on ebay couple weeks ago. But definitely worth the upgrade. All you tein riders out there, POTHOLE!!!!!

i think S. Tech's are more for show, the handling is indeed better than stock but its not the best. but i love the look of a car when its slammed but not the mexican style where the front fender is covering 1/4 of the wheel lol.
