need help with tv inst.

    need help with tv inst.

    I am Inst. a TV and playstation2 in my car

    the playstation is going in the glove box and this is where the tv will go :

    im going to cut the bottom half of the console thing off so the tv will go in its place..and now heres the thing... i dont know how to do it... i was thinking fiberglass, but i suck at that what other options are there?? please help me out if you can

    i used the mounting bracket that came with mine and cut out the door...but it needs to be at a pretty huge angle if u want to be able to see it from that spot

    well when i put it there and i can see it perfectly, but i tried to put the bracket there but it doesnt fill up the hole

    yeah i would do that but i think it looks harder than just putting it there

    If you can swap it up, do it. You won't regret it. Hard work does have it's benefits.

    And really... how do you see at that angle. I'm trying to imagine doing that myself and I can't without having my head in the backseat behind the shifter.

    If he is able to see at that angle down there he probably has a tft screen. I got a tft screen in my car and can see from it from pretty much every angle. If I were you man I'd by and extra console from ebay or a junk yard and work on it so you can learn from the first one if you messed up on it. Its worth a try to customize man cause in the end its worth all the trouble.

    *edit* i just called all the junk yards around here, and not one has a 2003-2005 corolla and they are not on ebay

    I think the glovebox is too low for a TV, but to each his own.. If you want to find a really cheap LCD 5" screen, find a playstation LCD on ebay for about $40 (no tuner, but if you're only using it to play video games and watch DVD's, you don't need a tuner).
