    trouble putting on springs

when i tried to do this part from the process, i had trouble. luckily it was the first one i tried so i put it back to stock. i just could not loosen up the bolt. lol i have red marks on the palm of my hand from where i was pushing to try to loosen it, but it would not budge. did i just not try hard enough? lol

Wouldn't it give you more leverage to put the allen wrench on the floor and try to loosen it with the bigger crescent wrench?

This must be for a 03+. When I did it on my 98 I loosened the nut first with the strut still in the car so I would not have to fight it when I had it out. It made it really easy. I also got me a 3 feet breaker bar. Best thing ever!

You need more leverage. Put the allen wrench on the floor and put a pipe over the wrench..get a friend to hold the strut assembly in place.
