    Half a Catback

Well today I received my Alphawerks Catback exhaust but unfortunatly its missing the muffler. I contacted the eBayer I got it from but no response yet. I'm going to be majorly pissed off if he doesn't send the muffler to go with the pipe he sent me. The pipe looks pimp and is awesome but I need a muffler or its pointless :)

Yup they forgot to ship half the order and sent it out. Now I have everything and I'm actually installing it today. I had to fabricate a bracket so far to make things work but I'll post pictures tonight of the whole thing.

HOLY CRAP! Okay. I installed my whole exhaust today and it seriously took no time flat which was cool but I got in the car and fired it up and WOW! The sound is amazing. I don't think a sound clip can simulate the sound this thing really makes. Amazing. Plus guess what? It didn't rob my low end at all. The car pulls way way harder now (This could be in part due to my flywheel upgrade) but also the engine rev's up nearly twice as fast as it did before. I think the stock exhaust is way more restrictive then I first though. I step the pedel to the ground and I can't pick my foot up off it before I hit redline. I'll try and do some audio clips and post some pictures tomorrow but its freaking amazing. Although I need to fire up the OBD-II because tonight I installed my Jet V-Chip and the check engine light is on. The car runs fantastic (little rich) but I want to make sure the engine code isn't anything to worry about.

How much of a difference did the Jet chip give?

Mine revs really fast also..sounds like yours might be quicker, though..

you guys should see a smallport with a lightened flywheel rev..... mine isn't light (200mm), but anyone who tries to drive my car instantly hits the gas too hard and tries taking off at like 4500 rpm's.... seriously

I haven't taken the car out for a drive with the Jet V-Chip installed yet. (It was pure ice on the ground and slush so I didn't dare :)) but tomorrow I'll give it a run and see how it goes.
