    Tranny problams

    I have 2003 Corolla with Stick Shift. It has 48,000 miles on it and right at this moment is in my dealer ship getting a brand new transmission put in. It was making a very wired noise on 2nd,3rd,4th,5th gear. Is anybody having the same problem? By the way i go autocrossing sometimes.

    it sounds exectly like a bad bearing.
    One day i just noticed it and thats how it started.

    damn 3500 is a lot for a new manual tranny... is that including labor?.... you can get a new manual tranny for around 16 or 17 hundred
