I have an 01 ce myself. Is it an auto or stick? I have an auto they have 120hp not to the wheels. Mine has 96hp and 97 tq. I have 15k in the engine, exhoust and body. You might get 1.5-2.5 at the most of the muffler if that. I dont know about the air box, I have an sri on mine.

I'm going custom! Screw SF :) Thanks corolla1zz. My biggest problem is just getting started on the custom turbo. I need a manifold and don't have the skills to make one? Are there any companies that make a turbo manifold and down pipe for our cars? As I see it those are the really hard things to get out of the way and the rest is just building your pipe network and getting the rest of the parts and tuning.

The 1998-1999 US bound non-VVT-i Corollas have 120HP at the crank, the VVT-i 2000-2002 Corollas have 125HP, and VVT-i 2003+ Corollas make 130HP at the crank. With cat back exhaust and better intake - maybe as much as 5HP gain. Just with the muffler and a higher performance air filter - more like 2-3HP tops.

correct corolla1zz is... you WILL lose low end torque as a result of these mods in general- my tip? dont do anything and save your money for a nice custom turbo, blower, or beefier car...

injen SRI made 2.1HP on the dyno on my corolla..

thermal R&D catback, i never dynoed, but i'm sure it was more than 5HP. definitely pulled much harder in the midrange rpms..

btw, my car dynoed at 102HP at the wheels at about 15K on the odo.. 5spd

I've got a 2.5 exhaust on the way. Woo hoo. I dont care if its a loss though cause it will sound pimp and give me gains when I find a turbo kit worth buying. I'm considering picking up the SF Kit in the other thread for $3200 but I'm also thinking about just building my own kit. Does anyone know of any companys that make a turbo manifold for our car? Cause if so I'm just going to buy that and start buying the turbo peice by peice and putting to togather.

no1 will have to buy from stafford to get the kit i got, if some1 bought it from me, they wouldnt have to wait that long or wait at all, i have all the pieces and there is no reason to deal w/ stafford at all if some1 buys my kit, they dont have to hassle w/ shit, it comes w/ all that u need that u would get from them as a complete kit, plus i have all the extra stuff for sale that would make 1 hell of an awesome turbo kit.
