    Got a New Toy!

It's a Kenwood EZ500 and i also have a Polk EX 12" 400W sub hooked up to a pioneer 760W (max) amp. the amp is running under the subwoofer preout function which is pretty sweet to say the least!

    PICS!!

Nice work james. It really matches all the colors of your car you know. unlike mine, it doesnt match anything. mine is more just for the function of having a mp3 player.

That looks cool, but I still like my head unit better :) I demoted my old head unit to volume control lower in the dash

Oh, BTW I wanted to tell you I really dig your tiny NUB of a shifter. I best that thing shifts nice. I've got the TRD short shifter (That isn't short in height just short throw) but I'm going to cut it down when I get a second of free time and re-weld it so its about an inch or two taller the yours because I did that with my old non-trd shifter and I loved it. I kinda felt robbed putting in the TRD shortshifter because it gave me the kenworth tractor shifter height again.

you should get a HUD on the windsheld with an integrated touch pad that would be cool.

yeah, the TRD quickshifter set is pretty good, and i would definitely recommend cutting it down. i actually have kumosport directshift bushings for a celica/mr2 installed. it feels a lot more solid than just the trd quickshifter or trd shifter alone. the shifting is VERY solid and the vertical shifter travel feels like that of a sequential manual or sport shift on an auto. that thing clicks into place. you should check it out, http://www.kumosport.com/

Anyway, back to the topic. Suggesting speakers first requires that we know how much you're planning to spend on your system. 250? 1000? Do you want to amp the speakers or run them off the headunit? Are you planning on running a sub? What kind of music do you listen to? That info should get us started.

The celica bushings fit? I would be interested in hooking these up if they make a huge difference.
