I mean JIC is a good company, but their USA headquarters are fill with morons!<br />

Oh btw, toysport quoted me $1200 last month. I'm thinking I might spring for the Flex w/o pillowball mount so I can adjust spring pre-load

I really need new suspension, my stock shi**y Corolla suspension squeaks and I lose control int he rain when I am turning some times at like 0-5 mph! It sucks, and AZ just had two days straight of rain, and my car spun out 3 times in a day. AND DA*N my car is a 01 with 80 thousand miles on it

    2001 Corolla Suspension Kits?

Now that I finished my Flywheel, Clutch upgrade I want to replace my stock suspension (the back struts are dying fast) and I want something real nice that will give me a lot of adjustability of height and ride. I can't seem to find anything for 98 - 01 everything Tien makes is for 03+ and everything that JIC makes is &lt;97? Are there no high end coilover kits for the 01? I don't want to build one myself out of seperate struts and springs because if possible I want something that is a matched set that has been tested togather like the kits have been. I want to spend between $1500 and $2000 for a kit. Any ideas?

JIC is low quality, 93-01 use the same suspension. Contact toysport, tell them you want a set of Tein SuperStreet dampener, they would have to be special ordered from Japan.

that's the first time i have heard they are "low quality" although i wouldn't say they are the best, they are a brand people trust.

I could not find Tien anything for the 98-01 rolla's? Did you have any better luck? Do you have a URL of a site that sells Tien for 98-01? That would be great!

Well I won't be buying JIC. Thanks for the post. I need alternate solutions though. I tried looking for H&R and Tien full coil over kits for the 98-01 corolla and had absolutly no luck? Am I just not searching the right places or do they not exist? If anyone knows where I can get an actual set of Tien SS or Tien Flex coilovers for a 01 Corolla please speak up and I will order them right now. I also wouldn't mind an H&R full coil over suspension kit but I can't find one for an 01 application either.

ae101s and zze110s share teh exact same suspension setup and weight distribution is also almost exactly the same, so just look for anything corolla within years 93-02.

He's right. All springs/struts (that means coilover kits too) for the 93-01 models are interchangeable.

How can you get Tien SS's? From what I can tell they only make them for the 03+ don't you have an 02?

Thats because its special order from japan.. isit the Tein Japan website
    http://www.tein.co.jp

    SS Model:
    AE111 Corolla/Levin - Part no. GST94-B1SS4 - Spring rate 5/3kg

    FLEX Model:
    AE101 COROLLA-LEVIN - Part no. DST40-61SS1 - Spring Rate 6/4kg
(w/o pillowball upper mount - Part no. DST40-71SS2)

Take those part no. to any Tein dealer and thye'll give you a price quote.

But if you want, you could email Tein USA and ask them if Tein plan on releasing dampeners for AE101/ZZE111 93-02 Toyota Corollas
    sales@tein.com
I get different answers every time I talk to one of their reps.
