I would go for one if it was the same size as the original. But if its smaller you will underdrive your alternator and if you have big stereo it will suck :)

look at the bottom pic of that pulley- the part that sticks out will keep you from getting that one on. I have an Unorthodox crank and alt pulley and mine had nothing like that on it. I seriously doubt that one would even let you get the bolt in.

BTW, I have a total of 1300 watts between 2 amps and never have had a serious problem.

    I have the following<br />
    1000 watt amp<br />
    1 farad cap<br />
    1 CarPC w/ 300watt power supply<br />
1 DC Inverter to power CarPC power supply<br />
    <br />
My stock alternator has a real real real hard time feeding the whole system at once and I even have an optima yellow top battery. What kind of amps are you running?

I bought one and it did not fit my 2001 Corolla S. The guy doesn't seem to want to refund my money. hmm... and no...they don't send you the belt.

If you want to give it a try then I can sell you mine for $50 SHIPPED!

The Ebay seller mentions that he is selling an OBX #3012 pulley, which is actually for a Celica GT 00- 2.0L DOHC 16V, or Celica GTS 00- 2.2L DOHC 16V. http://www.obxracingsports.com/perf...=18&subCat2ID=3
OBX has no pulley for our 1ZZ-FE...
    For $120, ASP's #331130 15% underdrive, 6061 T6 hard anodized, billet aluminum crank pulley fits perfectly. http://www.aspracing.com/frame.htm
    You'll need belt # K060735 (735K6) with AC, or # K060594 (594K6) without AC.

that's good 'cause I work at NTB and we're affiliated with mearchant's so I could get the belt for FREE!!!!

...you're sure that's the belt that will fit the aftermarket pulley, right?

You should be able to get a Dayco # 5060735 from Merchant's Tire & Auto in Ellicott City (465-3702), or a Goodyear # 4060735 from Golden Triangle Auto Parts, 15 Golden Triangle Shop Cen. (465-8202), or a Gates # K060735 from Salvo Auto Parts, 7003 Liberty Road, Baltimore (298-8400).

I have the Gates K060735 and it works great with the alt and crank pulley together. Actually the stock belt will work, just wont be as tensioned as with the Gates resize. Our stock is a K060740. I used it with both pulleys on.

Dead- Im running 40 amps over stock, at least fuse-wise. Also running a battery sized for the Camry- it acts as a smaller battery and capacitor would. A helluvalot cheaper, though. I'll admit at idle there is a small drop-off in headlight brightness and dash fan speed, but at about 1300 its all good, not really enough to notice unless youre looking for it.

BTW, the 2zz and 1zz are the same pulleys usually- at least crank and alt- the power steering is different.
