109 is a very good price. I got mine for 164 several years ago and that was the deal of the era. I sold mine for $80 and put the stock air box back on. Gas mileage is 3 mpg better without the Injen installed than with. Throttle response is also better. SRI's don't seem to work well in places like Socal where it gets over 100 degrees routinely.

yeah, injen will make your car slower, but 104 is a great deal, and blue is phat, it kind of matches your car.

Yo statik I'm sellin mine if u want it 70+ shipping used like 2 months man and it's red it's exactly like the one on the site. I talked to Injen and they said that they discontinued this intake cause not too many ppl bought it not cause it sucks but cause they didn't promote it too much so it's up for grabs if u want it. Check out my thread on FOR SALE/TRADE, just posted pics of the intake system.

Those short ram intakes are a joke, You will loose horsepower. I tried two different ones and both sounded cool but I lost all of my low end torque and when the car heated up it felt like I had 90hp. Whoever dreamed up the idea of putting the air intake super close to the exhaust manifold should be shot :)

Sounds like it might look cool being blue and all, but it woun't add any power.

I see how it curves around to the back, right over the exhaust manifold.

I wonder if a longer intake would work better...

    Hmmm.

    Basic Info :)
    1) Hot Air Rises
    2) Biggest source of hot air in your car is most likley "THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD & CAT"
    3) You don't want hot Air being recycled into your engine only to make hoter air.
    4) People who designed short intake systems that hover over the "TOP" of the Manifold should be shot" :)

Anyways that my 3 1/2 cents.

Hm... Well I've done some looking around... and consulted my Dad.

He is pretty much saying the same thing. It looks weak on the low end power. I think I'm going to look into header, ignition system, injectors...

    Thanks everyone for the input...
its still a good price I guess.. :p

true, it is placed in a closed off location. However, I believe with the larger surface area it does suck in my air. and the picture does not do it justice because it is not right next to the manifold. It sits on top of a lower opening in your car.

I have one... my car didn't loose any torque....actually, i would argue that it doesn't affect your performance at all until you hit high speeds on the freeway where acceleration becomes smoother.

Well believe it or not mine gained a lil power but u could try an ELP CAI I heard those were kinda kool plus they don't go anywhere near ur manifold newayz
