i dont remember right offhand, but i'll look at it for you tomrorow.

and yes, you could do that, but it's pretty ghetto, splicing it to the power wire on your stock headie harness (which is the same as the ACC circuit) is a better bet.

are you talking about installing an aftermarket headie?

Put that "amp. remote wire" close to your stereo.

The remote wire goes to a voltage sensor inside the amp. when you have a positive voltage going to the remote wire the amp switches on, then off when there is no voltage.

You need to connect the remote wire to a wire in the back of the head unit. It may have a specific remote wire which you can connect to.

Find a wire that shows +12v when the H/U is switched on, and shows no voltage when it's off. Tap into that wire.

Look for any wiring diagrams online, or if you may have a manual for the H/U.... wires may be labeled... You'll need a test probe too...

Good luck.. let us know how you make out..

    yo
i have the exact same setup as you. my new head unit should be coming in soon, and when i rip open my dash to install it, i'll take pictures of how i did my wiring (and the + voltage sensor) before i cut it all out and use a new wiring harness.
