    16" wheel quest

Hey gang, I have an 03 Corolla S with celica GT 16", right now the tires are 205/50/16, I wanted to put on a wider tire, but don't know how much wider I can go without rubbing when I turn. I am also lowered on H&R race springs, about 2" drop, any suggestions, and also what do you think abou tleaving the front tires as they are, and putting on wider rear tires? And how much wider, thanks

215 width tires should fit, but with your drop you may or not rub when you turn the wheel all the way. If you're getting wider tires, I'd get them all the way around though. Putting on wider rear tires won't help you much handling wise, It'll probably make the car understeer more, in addition to being added weight.

wider tires on the back are for cars with rear-wheel drive. they dont do anything in a corolla.

i used to run 205's in the rear and 195's in the front on my corolla. no adverse effect, no extra understeer..

if you wanted to do that, i say more power to ya.
