    they tackled the guy and DRAGGED him away. they later blew up the suit cases and found nothing inside. they said they saw a "timing device" and some wires. ended up being a cd player and a watch of some sort. they said the guy was being uncooperative and kept saying he wanted to speak to the president. :rolleyes:

    lol I dk but law enforcement is EXTREMELY fooking paranoid even though I mean it could've been a bomb but damn they take it to the extremes with that violence shit.... it's just like the guy that paid at Best Buy with fresh and crisp $2 bills.... America in it's finest lol

    Youre saying that they shouldnt have done what they did?? Geez.....in this day and age, they refrained from using more force, which would have been justified.

    He has two suitcases next to him, with his arms behind his back, not moving for 45 minutes. Says he wants to talk to the president, over and over again. the guys a looney...just came into the US from China.....police did a great job at ending the situation without using too much force.

    well in the time that we all live in today, i think law enforcement should do everything that they can even if it means what turbo4age said, and shoot his face off or something....if he wants to stand there in front of the freakin capitol and f*ck around sayin he has a bomb, then police shouldnt f*ck around with him either and just lay him out....people can keep saying that law enforcement is too strict or unlawful or something like that...well, i just dont want to see another building blow up.....what are they to say when that happens...

    well if something goes wrong its always the cops fault if things go the right way its not the cops good investigation work and such is something else.. the police are under appreciated

    They did a great job....they could see that his hands were empty, and the guy that tackled him did it without disturbing the two bags. Capitol police dont mess around.....they have enough leeway and power to use extra force when necessary.
    Two summers ago a man had a grenade at Union Station. They laid him the fuck out too!

    from what i also read..the guy had become an issue with immigration a few times. so this isn't the first time he had to deal with law enforcement.

    And anyone that thinks that suicide bombers wont start targeting within the US is naive. It happens at least 3 times a day in the middle east, and it WILL begin on US soil soon.

    Hey, Im a realist. To sit there and say that we will never get attacked again is just stupid. (not aimed at you...aimed at the US in general) It WILL happen again. Maybe sometime soon, maybe 10-15 years down the road. Osama started planning the WTC attacks in 1983. 1983!!!! 10 years of planning, and the 1st time didnt work, so it was back to the drawing boards. 8 years after that, and he accomplished what he wanted to accomplish. Al Qaida is making attacks every single day overseas. They are very very patient, and there is NO WAY that there arent sleeper cells within the US as we speak, ready for the word. We just have to be mentally prepared for it WHEN it does happen, not IF.

    Be grateful youre in Alabama.
