Yeah thats motor thats in the new Civics and CRV's now. The new Accords have I think 2.2 for the 4 banger and the 6 has 3.2. The new 05 vans have 3.5 V6. And I was told by our Honda DSM that Honda is coming out with a V8 very soon. By the I'm a Honda tech, I learned about that i VTEC I in Honda school in French Camp. Interesting stuff, but our transmissions suck shit... on the V6. I was also the first one to work on the new Accord Hybrid.. quick very quick. Has IMA like the Civic, but has all the bugs worked out.

Is it just me... or is that not all that impressive? Nice HP number, but 35mpg is easily attainable in alot of 4 cylinder cars... how many MPG is the XRS rated? And it makes 170hp out of 1.8 liters... I dunno, its not overly impressive...

i'm assuming the 35mpg is during mixed driving of highway and city. They really didn't specify whether that was purely city or highway, but for mixed driving thats not bad at all.

that was in a minivan...that 35mpg figure.... pretty damn good for a minivan. Just wait till they stick IMA on that bitch...itll get insane millage :)

BTW, the accord and CR-V use the K24 motor...which is a 2.4L motor. and if im not mistaken, the accord V6 is a 3.0L. the 3.2 TL...obviously...is the 3.2 and the MDX ,oddesy, pilot, and VUE redline :))) use the 3.5L.
