headlight bulb booster??

    its pretty much the same principle as the Catz Zeta

    Its a DC to DC converter that increase supply votage to the bulb (ie from 12V DC to 15V DC) thus making it brighter, so it does work, not as efficent as true HID setup but it works. But i'm not sure about the brand, see if you could find the brand i mention above.

    headlight bulb booster??

    i was just looking for stuff on ebay and i ran across this.

    It says its supposed to make your headlights brighter but it doesnt say how much brighter. Is it gona make the lights die out faster? anyone know anything about this?

    Even their photo showing the befreo/after looks is just a gamma corrected photochop (look at the tail lights) - total joke.

    But the concept works - by overdriving the lights with more voltage, you will get more light intensity from the stock bulbs - at the risk of burning them out prematurely. Most bulbs have a voltage tolerance of +5%, sometimes more - for a typical lifespan. You can crank that voltage higher and get more light, but the bulb's life will tank quickly (log relationship). Something like 5-10% above max tolerance will yield 30-40% more light, but shorten bulb life from 40-70%.

    It's probably worth it to upgrade your harness and put in some higher wattage bulbs.

    Hey man, if u do end up getting these, tell me how they work n if possible...include a pic too...cuz im thinkin bout converting to HIDs soon but if i can get it cheaper through these lighting booster things, then i wouldnt mind goin for it....
