    Loud ticking?

I've been noticing that my engine has been ticking pretty loudly lately. Do you think it has to do with the weight of the oil? Should I go take it to a shop to get it looked at?

Does it increase in speed when you rev up the engine?

Have you tried any premium gas to see if it goes away ??

Take out a 2nd mortgage and try a little to see.

My last 2 Corollas would spike in warm weather without 93 octane.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Yeah, it's just a small ticking. I checked the oil and the oil seemed fine since it's only been about 1,000 miles since the last oil change. I drove the car today and the ticking calmed down a lot compared to yesterday. I won't worry about the ticking then.

Mine makes a ticking noise, but it's somehow related to the clutch. When I apply a little pressure to the clutch it goes away. In the engine bay I've pinpointed it to specific part, but just can't figure out why it's squeaking. Since WD40 does nothing, I've just learned to live with it.
