The hoodscoop is needed for the top mounted intercooler, it's far from rice. As for the spoiler, the body design is taken after rally cars...and the spoiler is functional anyways. I guess all the WRC cars are rice also?

Take an STi vs. any factory domestic under $100,000 and put them on any handling road course. STi will come out on top....period

i didnt say that the scoop and and spoiler were rice, i actually like them but some people dont and consider it ricey.

we were ridin in my friends Sti last night and these fuckin back country rednecks come up to us in there 1993 mustang, rusty as hell , the most horrid sounding exhaust ever,and call us ricers, of course they gun it, and we laugh but its annoying (STI=NOT RICE)

wutever the point is if they call imports rice wut can we call domestics

though i agree with you that the sti isnt rice, many consider it factory rice b/c of the overly large hood scoop and spoiler. you should have raced him, even if it was a cobra the sti would smoke it.

Yea I just cring when I see any young male driving a mustang. Its really unfortunate that stupid people like that have to act the way they do. Its seems that a certain percentage of the population will never like imports or anything with 4 cylinders. Lets not forget that my 4cyl produces 170HP, and that stang if its a 5 litre GT is a V8 and only probably makes about 200HP.

Hey my 1st car I have ever had was a 68 stang fast back that would blow any corolla off the roadit had a hair over 600hp til I lost it going around a turn doing 110 and went in a field and hit a tree brod side. I got the knocked the f-ck out.

I just call it white trash if there is a mullet-wearing-creton behind the wheel.

we know the neon's and cavaliers are domestic rice, what i mean is, sorta like the way they see all imports as rice or jap crap what word can we use to insult theyre cars?

hey now, flinging insults like that is useless and uncalled for. i respect the older stangs...that's where true breeding in the car is from. of course...you can insult domestic cars all you want, be my guest...but keep in mind, any corolla in its early/stock stages WILL be beat by any V8 mustang. hell, they'd walk all over your car.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa wanna bet? i have quite a few domestic friends who are bashed more by import drivers than those who have 4-bangers are bashed by domestic owners.

maybe it's just where you live...but i know the import kids around me are horrible.

thats right and to go off topic a little bit, the new evo mr beat a murcielagos track time on top gear. i want one really bad.

i never said that i had no respect for domestics, it just seems that domestic drivers are always at one point or another mocking our taste in cars and we never seem to do it back as much as they do.
