    anyone have a few good stores to buy ae86 parts? got a sr5 for 300bucs runs and is good but gonna do a gts conversion.

    engine, whole exhaust system, tranny, rear disc brake, LSD, suspension ...etc I guess?

    sounds like you've got a roadtrip ahead of you ;)


    another idea...go to the Toyota dealership and become REALLY GOOD friends with the parts guys...sometimes they'll hook you up with good places to look. i know when i had my SR5, the parts guy helped me out immensely.

    Ok.... Here's a dumb but slightly related question. If I were to atempt to convert my 97 to a GT-S, what would I need? I know it's like trying to make a green apple into an orange but I am curious.

    Cheaper to get a GTS and find a way to put the 97 frame and body on it.

    depends on what "gts" you're talking about..... be it an ae82 or ae92 then all you need are 4 wheel disc brakes, sideskirts, different gauges, different seats, larger swaybars, a 4age, and a spoiler
