Looks like a little hacking and an extra phone can make it so that if anyone takes your car, the motion detector can text message or call a pre-determined number. As long as you hid it well, this would be great. The ultimate tracking device.. Simply stay on the line, hand your cell phone to a police officer, and through triangulation they should be able to pretty easily find your car.

Only drawback I can see is that you wouldn't want to have to pay for an extra line, but rather get on a family plan. that way it costs nothing extra per month since your car will never make any calls unless you arm it. I just hope the sensitivity is adjustable.. I'd hate to get a message "those dam kids keep hitting me with a football.. Come quick before I get dented"
