116 is pretty low. And yes, you will have the bubbles for a while.....dont roll down your windows for 3-4 days, nor clean em for at least 2 weeks.
    The cloudiness is common.

Did you get a full warranty?

yeah depending on how warm/hot the weather is, the cloudiness/bubbles could last for close to a week.
when i get my windows tinted, i don't roll down the windows or wipe them for a good 2 weeks.

You said it yourself: $116 is pretty low. So, yea, I guess I didn't get a full warranty cause of that. Atleast I got one. I hope everything turns out ok.

Pretty sure I got ripped off... (window tint)

Well, for Christmas my mom paid to get my windows tinted. I got it done last Saturday at a place local to South Florida called Señor Stereo. There was three shades and I got the darkest, and illegal, of the three. It is a high-performance titanium tint. Anyway, on Sunday, the day after I got the tint done, I noticed cloudy bubbles in the tint. I am no expert of window tint, but I am pretty sure that there is not supposed to be cloudy bubbles of dried soap/water solution. This is on every window, and on the rear window it is the worst, it's so cloudy and there is so many little bubbles I am having trouble seeing out of it even during the brightest hours of the day. So today I went down to Señor Stereo, and told them about the cloudy bubbles, and the guy I talked to said something along the lines of "Since it's Titanium tint, it will take 30-60 days for it to completely dry, and untill then it might be a little cloudy. Come back in about a week if you still think something is wrong." Ok, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to wait untill this weekend to take the car back. Despite the fact that the tint has to dry, There's not supposed to be pockets of air and dried, cloudy, soapy liquid, I am pretty sure.

Please post any feedback, experiences, or suggestions!! Thanks guys.

Edit: I forgot to say it costed $116US if anyone was wondering.

Yea the bubbles seem really questionable, but it seems it's some-what common, so I'll wait it out. Thanks for all the input.

A friend of mine got tints and had bubbles initially as well. When he took it back to the shop to inquire, they said it was a problem to have large bubbles, but that small bubbles were normal. They redid a couple of his windows b/c the bubbles were too big. The small bubbles he had went away after about a week, so if you see no improvement in that amount of time, I'd take it back and ask for it to be redone.

basically... small bubbles are ok and your tint will look foggy for the first day or so. if you want and if u know how to do it, grab a rubber piece of squeegee and go through each window. BUT... u only wanna do this within the first hour of taking your car home coz if u try and do this a day later, u will fuck up your tint for sure!

I paid about 120 for lifetime warranty tint (a friend put it on, but the tint is lifetime warranty quality)...there were no bubbles when he put it on, and I haven't had any since -- maybe a tiny blemish in one or two spots, but it's almost completely flawless.

It didn't smell bad either..he used baby shampoo and water to clean the windows & apply the tint..worked great.
