    Toms body kit

hey whats up guys. has anyone here installed a toms body kit before? from what i am aware of, it comes with a rear lip, side skirts and a full front bumper? i just want to know if its easy enough to work with and worth the money and effort. they are going pretty cheap off ebay and i havnt seen many rollas with them on, i was wondering if there was a reason. thanks.

I have a DIY for installing the skirts on my site. The rear should be easy to install as well, as long as it's not warped out of shape.

oh hey vamp, you have an auto right? what else have you done that significantly increased power in your car? Ive read a lot on your page, but right now im stuck on intake and exhaust. im thinking about getting my throttle body ported and polished, but other than that im a little stuck. without FI, id like to get a little more juice out of my ride, and u seem to know your shit, so any help is appreciated.

Yes, I have an auto. Right now, my setup is geared towards getting ready for my F/I setup. Some things I can suggest are getting a full pulley set (not just the alternator pulley), regrounding your car, keeping things light (no heavy systems in the trunk, unlike my ride), getting a full cat-back no bigger than 2.25" (you will lose some low end in exchange for high end), and a high stall torque convertor.

sweet, i was looking into getting a high stall torque converter a while ago, but the shops i talked to around here seemed to think i was wasting my money. no one could really tell me straight out if it was a good idea or not. do you know where i could find a full pulley set? i have looked around a lot but have failed.

I personally like my TC a lot. I noticed a good improvement with accelleration after installing it and everyone else who's driven my car has too. For pulleys, Unorthodox Racing has a full set. I think nopi.com might sell them. I'm sure other places hav them as well.

I got mine from LevelTen for $500. I think you can get one from protorque.com for less though.

thats probably what ill do. I went to the link u posted up for levelten. the one for $498 said that I would have to send my torque converter to them to be serviced. I thought they sent you a re-worked one?

No, you need to supply the TC first. Just get one from a junkyard. Once you get it upgraded, you can just simply sell your TC to the next person on the board that wants the upgrade.
