    Custom Transmissions?

Anyone know where I can get a custom transmission from or find a Clutchless 5 or 6 speed manual? I want Clutchless to shave miliseconds on track times... Plus its an added bonus to a show...

Are you sure you don't want clutchless because you don't know how to use a clutch? That would be the more common reason. There are a lot of things that you're losing when you opt for a shiftronic instead of a manual, unless you've maxed out all other possibilities, a new custom tranny for your car to shave off miliseconds would be the most costly and inefficient way to shave any sort of seconds. I don't get the fasination of it.

NRM - it's probably the bling factor.

bling (not to mention it can use paddle shifting too) and seconds, I might not be a master with a manual but i can handle it... its the same idea as my power shifter on my bike, but that just speeds the shifting.

Someone on the board was working on getting a shift kit made, but I don't know what the status of that is.

Wouldn't the one from the MR-S bolt up to the Corolla 1ZZ? I would think that it would prolly need new mounts but you'd get a 6 speed clutchless transmission.

Vamp:the kit is done and they are on sale I believe...Sean2Sean got it made. It's made by transgo :)

Yeah, he got in touch with me about it. As soon as I have money, I'm picking one up.

I think the MR-S tranmission will bolt up, but as you said, you'll most likely need new mounts.

MMMM baby, that might just work, now if I can get the bike i was gonna buy, and re-sell it, i can afford a transmission from Level10 and an Engine from Monkey Wrench Racing... That there would be beautiful... Cept' are they only auto that you manualy shift? I guess I'll have to call them...
