    Support Our Troops Ribbons

Am I the only one that is thinking that in about 5 years, we're going to be seeing a lot of cars with the sun burn in on the support our troops ribbons? Because many people put the magnetic ribbon on their cars, and then leave them there, and never move em. So the rest of the car's paint fades from the sun/elements, except where that ribbon is stuck to.

So down the road, when people take those ribbons off, theyre going to be in for a surprise!

Just something weird that popped into my head on the way home from work last night.

:) Ahh well. It'll be like they never took it off. :)At least they should turn it sideways so when they DO take it off, other people will just think its some Christian "fish" symbol. lol

Actually I was thinking this exaxt same thing like 2 weeks ago... and the sad part about the whole thing is, that a good majority of them are turned sideways here. I live in a ubbr christian community

I hate it when people put those ribbons on and drive their lifted trucks like jackasses..."Support our troops in the fight against terror by terrorizing the highways" is what they're telling me.

I dont see how driving practices and supporting our troops overseas has any relation to one another.

Does the money spent on those ribbons actually go to the troops. I heard someone's getting rich off that whole scheme.

i used to have one to cover a scratch...someone keyed my car... damn it... anyways, i thought about that too, coz when i washed my car, i saw the part where the magnet was clean, so i thought of long term effects too... so i took it out...
