    Shaving bumpstops necessary with S-Techs?

So, I got my S-techs and Tokicos installed today and the car looks great! It rides really smoothly over small bumps and isn't what I consider rough at all. When I go over moderately bigger bumps though, I hear a loud banging/crashing sound coming from the wheel wells... Also, the springs make a creaking sound sometimes at low speed. Could the crashing sound be the car hitting the bumpstops?

I hadn't heard about any other 93-97 owners saying they shaved their bumpstops with S-techs, so it seems a little strange. Any other ideas on what the problem could be?

on the sheet it says to shorten the bumpstops so I would assume that you should hehe.. I have the same set up as you right now but I'm waiting for my rear struts...

O ok. I took it to a place that only charged me $150 and now I think I blew both my front struts because of their shitty install. Good thing Tokico has a warranty, otherwise I'd be shit out of luck.
