Ever thought about installing fold down seats in a 93-97?

I have the base model 94 which didn't come with fold down seats. This is a major pain in the ass sometimes. Does any anyone know if it's easy to install fold down seats in a car that didn't come with them?

my seats dont fold down either. i have a 2001 corolla S. i first thought about using door hinges to make them fold down, but you'll have to cut the rings that bolt ur seat in place. i didn't do this because it's not worth it. you can try to go to a junk yard and scrap parts off another 93-97 corolla.

Yeah that's what I was thinking I'd do. I was hoping it wouldn't involve alot of custom work and the mounting points for the fold down seats would already be there, but doesn't look like that's the case.

i love my fold down seats.

my recommendation is to see if you can unbolt the rear seats on your car. if you can, then the others could bolt in in place. what about the locks? they may or may not work also.

I've wanted fold down for a while. My idea was to take them from a 93-96 Corolla wagon. Still looking for some actually....
