it's a nice toyota powered ride, but overpriced IMO.. some competition should bring the market down.

you go to england and the elise is considered a hairdresser's car, meaning.. well.. figure it out.

they autoX well tho, i see a couple at events now and then..

if you're a fat kid, forget fitting in this car.

Dunno, All I know is an Elise with 400HP and some low end power would be ALOT of fun!

That thing would not be fun necessarily, I dont even think that would be streetable. Power to weight ratios and that would be insane. Good luck getting any traction at all. I think it would just do 360's if you werent extremely careful.

they handle better than just about anything out there. It's pretty much a street legal go-kart.

Yeah but that's relative. Overseas the Escort is also considered a no-joke baaad car too. But here its the wendy's drive-through kid's car. :)

My roommate has a vid of an elise racing with some top-end cars, Ferrari, Lambo, etc. On the Straightaways they take off and disappear, but every curve section the elise catches them and passes them up. Really cool. If I remember correctly, it ends up passing them.

It looks awesome to me..but I don't think I'd ever buy one -- by the time I could afford it, it would be impractical...lol

I happen to be visiting friends in DC for the weekend and I see alot more of them up here than I do in ATL. How does the Elise compare to the Z4 and the new Boxster in performance? If it can't compete with these newer cars, expect to be able to pick up an Elise for cheap.
