Hood Scoop (pics inside)

    Hood Scoop (pics inside)

    How efficient would a offset hood scoop directed to my Bomz Racing RAI would be? I'm thinking of getting another hood from a junker and putting in a L200 Style offset hood scoop directed to the RAI.

    Something like this:

    My Rai is located as follwed:
    [IMG]

    The scoop would be located right ontop of the RAI alittle more offset than in the L200.

    Has anyone tried this? What issues will water (ie: rain, etc.. ) bring? Can I expect any gain or improvement on the RAI?

    Umm I don't think it would be that efficient, unless the opening in the hood was directly connected to your air intake. Also what is that thing????

    I think its a pretty good idea, don't know if it will work or not. A hood scoop like that definately would be creative.
