Too bad they trashed the 240sx, that car has lots of potential.

Then again the kid was probably a ricer, seriously you don't buy a bodykit and then duct tape it on...so this is probably his dream car. :)

anyone see last night? took a nissan 240sx I think it was.. kid could afford a body kit but couldn't afford to install it, so he double sided taped most of it on, the front had bolts sticking out the side, really sad. Even sadder what they did to it, made it the riciest thing I've ever seen (I'm sorry, but green/orange don't go together, I dont' care what need for speed underground created), and that spoiler was HUGE! And i'm sorry but it was sad when they put in enough xbox's for 12 people to play, and the dude is like "uhh.. I don't even have 11 friends that could play".

How many people do you know that have cars like that though.. the dash is torn apart, seat missing to make more room for a bunch of car parts, has nice rims on front or back, but not all 4 wheels. the kid last night had a radiator fan, 2 spare steering wheels, and this radar detector that bleeped like a video game, and then spoke something like "welcome back, enjoy your drive". And I believe he didn't actually use it as a radar detector because it was sitting by the armrest instead of on the dash, he just liked the way it sounded. gawd was that a bad episode, it was so bad I couldn't stop watching it.. it was like a train wreck.

The thing that made it worse about the 240sx was when they said like "you can't mention the import tuning market without saying 5zigen" or something like that. I expected the car to be decent cause of the brands their putting on it. Then they come out with that gay orange wheel and that paint with graphics. That show has gone too much IMO. They even scrapped out a decent looking bodykit which was intalled in a ghetto fashion and also lost that nice stock spoiler that made it look clean as hell. That shit had so much potential, but that stupid as kid let Pimp my ride and fuck it up to hell.

wat brands were they putting on? i dont think it was the good ones.

wat part of that body kit was ''decent?''

the thing that really got me was where they mismatched some cheapo racing seats with his stock seats to make it sit lower. mad gangsta lean style Yo!! wat a bunch of idiots. ehh they dont care they make all their money from selling 24s and gold plated steering wheels.

I was reffering about the original body kit the guy had and the 5zigen rims. The first kit looked like it match the body of the car better then the one the put on it. Also its the first time WCC actually put a nice brand of rims on a car other then some chrome dubs and what not.

They switched the body kit to make it look like the car in the game.. had nothing to do with looking good, just wanted ratings so some 12 year old could go "oooh.. they made the car in the video game real!" that hood scoop was horrible. And putting a custom seat back on the stock bottom wasn't a bad thing, that dude was tall and hitting his head on the ceiling. I wish they could create a show that's somewhere between pimp my ride and overhaulin. Overhaulin and the foose crew do really great work (strip it down and restore every single part on the car instead of adding bandages), but they try to keep it stock. They need a show where they do good work that's not cheesy, but add flair.

Screw all those shows and just flip on over to the OCC Channel, that's what Casey does. lol...he comes home and the tv is on OCC. ::eye roll::

In all honesty, I'm down for a good mod show, but I am sick TO DEATH of weld this, chop that, steal your car and fix it up, ricer mods, monster whatever, bikes, cars, trucks, machinery, mechanics, metal working, and all the other crap that they need to make yet ANOTHER show out of!!! I don't mind it in real life, but this is much on tv is just rediculous!!!!

I forget what the name of the show is but there was a show on speed channel that I liked. They had like 10,000 dollars just to tune cars, exterior, interior, and engine. I saw them do a wrx and srt-4. It was actually a pretty cool show. I really hate it when people ask me if somone pimped my ride, its like wtf no thats all hard work and my own money and my car isnt fucking stupid looking(at least I dont think so).

I don't remember that, but I do remember a documentary on like discovery or something where they took like a 96 dx civic and a mitsubishi eclipse, and the team that got the civic was happy.. the team that got the eclipse was like "ooh nooo.. this is the worst car to try to do engine work on!" It wasn't ricey though, it was real racers doing decent engine work (I think they did an engine swap on the civic)

The show on the Speed Channel is called Tuner Transformation. They did a variety of cars. They even did a swap into an 86 and converted a paseo into rwd. It was pretty neat. There's also another show that's not quite along the same lines. It's called Full Throttle on the History Channel. They take two cars and redo them and race them. The winner get to keep the two cars. It's kinda neat.

lol, there's a girl on a Celica site whose car was at WCC for that episode, like a photoshoot/promo for NFSU2.

And I love that Tuner Transformation show...I watched them do a CRX and I thought it was borderline rice but the car performed very well.

Quote from the show: "It's a Honda, that means engine swap." :)

What was that weird speaker they put in there? It was either the 240sx show, the Legend, or the Blazer. They put this weird thing in the rear deck that looked like a piece of fiberglass sheeting that was supposedly a subwoofer?
