Neon Glow Embles

    well i agree with everyone who says dont do it but if you really want to then yes they are illegal its CA vechicle code (2somthing somthing) have to look it up but yeah its unlawful lighting which is a fix it ticketthis includes windshield wiper LEDs, under glow neons, neon liscense plates

    Hey you guys. Do any of you have these glow emblems on your car? Do they look ok or do u get any trouble from police. They glow kida bluish. I'm in S.Cali. Any thoughts?

    ok ok, I get the point. It's just that I've seen them on a few cars and I didn't think they looked so bad. But if they're illegal, then I'm just not going to bother with them then. Thanks guys.

    I dont see why they would be illegal, old grand ams have light up pontiac symbols inbetween the headlights...

    uh...because they're blue and on the front of the vehicle.

    police lights = blue on front of vehicle.

    Your contridicting yourself. In another thread about an evo wing you state the below. That the law supercedes the fact that the part is stock.

    But Actually your current post is accurate.

    There is a law where I live that outlaws HID's but what it means is if you have retrofitted HID's in a 93 corolla for example. Not that if you buy a 7 series BMW that you have to fit it with 9005 and 9006 Halogen bulbs.

    Im not contradicting myself....the lights on the grand ams arent blue or red, and arent a safety issue. And my statements in the referred post are accurate as well.
