neither are max performance summer tires. hell the bridgestones u mentioned arent even ultra high performance. I highly doubt they offer the dry grip i'm looking for.

as far as the continentals go, again thats not even a summer tire. its all season and if i was looking for an all season i'd go pzero nero m+s

but ur comments are much appreciated. Thanks you.

    Nitto 555's
I'm very contempt with these tires, but dont take my word for it. Check the websites out.

    2004 Corolla S
    Nitto 555
    255/40/18-Rear
    245/40/18-Front

    Next up fender flares/spacers
wide body kit (custom by M1)

umm yeah i think i've already established that nitto doesnt make a very good tire. refer to above post, but they do look pretty i'll give them that.

azenis offers amazing grip for the price, of course with the treadblock design, wet performance will suffer, but how often does it rain in your area? if you want more of a streetable tire get the ziex 512's also from falken, they are amazingly cheap for a high grip, high treadwear tire. i used them at an open track day and was able to out corner many people (it was raining though)

it rains every so often. lets say less than seattle but more than reno. I was orginially going to go with the 512s but decided i wanted a max summer tire and here were are now. I'm definitley going to look into getting some azenis mounted on a spare set of wheels for autox days

the problems i see with the tires you listed is

the falkens prolly dont grip as well in the wet as the ones i listed and the treadwear rating isnt all that great.

from numerous reviews i've read all the yokohama and nittos have to offer are cool looking treads. "ricer" tires if you will. The yokohamas are prolly decent tires but I've read too many reviews where the owner said they are not for high performance driving like autox. And the less said about nitto the better.

i'm leaning towards the goodyears becuase they offering a $75 rebate right now and the tires are standard equipment on the Ferrari 430. So if its good enough for ferrari its good enough for me.

i wasnt sure which tires he was refering to. he said conti extreme contact or something and the closest thing i could find was the all season tire. I think i'll spend the extra $3 per tire on the good years who are offering a $75 rebate right now. appreciate the suggestions tho.

Now whats a good R compound tire?

i second that i got it on my 95... it grips like muthaf-ckas... "A A" traction really nice in the rain... only compaints i got is the tire vibrates very little but that could just be the balancing or the car needs alignment...

but although this set of BFG Traction T/A is awesome... i would still prefer Michelin over all other tires since one space shuttle use it two i had tires that lasted only a yr b4 it was Goodyear and Bridgestone but it was covered by the tire warranties so didn't cost me anything...

the goodyear f1 g3ds's are probaly the best you can get. They are almost impossible to find though, they sell out FAST. Just don't use them on the track or autocross, they can't take that much heat. But they are like the best street tire.
