they are supposedly "better" now. but no they are really not. I bought a trunk from them and it was the worst money i ever spent.

1.there was dust all under the clear coat
2. in some spots the weave looked messed up or it might have been the clear coat.
3. if you havent figured it out by now the clear coat sucked
4. they didnt even put in the right size key hole for the key cylinder. It was too small
5. fitment was pure ass. I expect something to fit right for the amount of money i paid. And when i say fitment I mean everything from the way it sat on the car to the way the locking latch locked.
6. the edges looked like ass. they were all scuffed up, maybe that was from shipping
7. and the fiberglass skeleton they used was not the right one. that would explain the small keyhole.

and cf gets real old real quick trust me. It'll look cool for a while but then u'll just get tired of it. Not trying to discourage anybody from buying this particular item, just my opinion on cf and vis.

Thats a really good price for a hood, im surprised you haven't sold them both already.

And on a sidenote dont say VIS is not good quality w/o backing it up with a story or some proof. My VIS Invader hood is hella good quality and damn well made. maybe you had a bad experience with them or something but but back up your comment with something. come on now.

its only me who thinks vis is crappy? or its only me who thinks cf is over rated?

in either case i'm not the only one, i've met other people who says vis is crap.
and unless the cf replacement saves u a lot of weight then i dont see any reason to get it except for the bling factor of course ;)

i haven't met ne one that doesn't like their hood/trunk at all...and it depends on the person if they want it on their car or not...if they want it, let them get it and let them try it for themselves..their money...people are not gonna take ur word unless they know you REALLY well
