considering who's running their truck division, it's understandable. Lutz is a Putz.

damn 3 stars? that is really low and considering these pick ups are heavy duty......... well I'm not surprised though I don't like Chevy or Ford for shit anyways lol but good luck to them trying to redesign the vehicles for better safety

Matt, make up your mind...one minute you're saying you like domestics, the next you're saying they're crap.

anyway. the new GTO is nice, but then again it's australian in origin - so we can't bash it too much. the aussies get some BADASS chevies and fords...the types of stuff that kids over here would lust over if they just knew they existed.

after working in close contact with GM vehicles over the past year, and seeing their service records...i'd get any new GM over any new Mitsubishi in a heartbeat - and yes, that includes the EVO. i'd get any new GM truck overall...they've proven their reliability over the decades, and they were the first to do a heavy pickup the RIGHT way. if i had my choice between the "big 3" american carmakers, i'd take chevy in a heartbeat.

jbodies currently are junk, and are on their way out ;) OLDER cavs and sunbirds aren't too bad as long as you're very particular about the ones you consider.

the higher level GMs are nicer.

No offense taken......its okay if you all base your opinions on what others have said on these boards, instead of speaking from experience.

Well, yeah, its a 94. Youre basing your opinon on VWs because of a 1994 jetta that has some problems?

My 94 corolla had tons of problems.....I wouldnt say Id buy anything over a corolla.
