All the info is here: http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publ...icle_1062.shtml

But some highlights of the article

The Jetta V will initially be offered early next year with an all-new 2.5l inline-5 cylinder derived from the V10 Lamborghini Gallardo engine.

There will also be a 100hp 1.9l TDI diesel option available with a five-speed manual or Volkswagen's trick six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) and finally the venerable 2.0l FSI 4-cylinder turbo with 200hp and a MQ350 six-speed manual or six-speed DSG

There are no current plans to offer a VR6 model at this point

The new Jetta V is a recipient of the Golf V's vastly improved revised Macpherson strut front suspension and all-new full indepenent rear suspension

I just hope they will fix the reliablility of the car itself...

The car alone looks nice. Looks very Japanese designed but with a european flare.

Kinda like how Nissans are designed in Britain by brit's and japanese...

That was ONE problem....and it was fixed. The coilpack problem occured only on a certain amount of 1.8Ts, and was fixed for free. It was a pain for some people, but hey, things happen. In the long run, it was the coilpack manufactuers problem.....

Oh come on everyone here knows the 03+ rolla looks hella like the Jetta. VW was the first to come out with the R/C Car esque antenna LoL.

that's based on the a2 and some early a3 body style jettas, golfs, and gti's. The a4 body styles has had no electrical problems that I have heard of.
