1st time @ track...NHRA Finals in Pomona, CA

I went to the track for the 1st time ever...witnessed the NHRA finals qualifying rounds today...talk about real cars...going real fast...the top fuel funny cars (running s/c w/ 85% nitro methane)...the best time i saw was 4.47 sec 1/4 mile @ like 328 mph (which was by the dragster pictured below Mac Tools)...but I watched top fuel, funny car, pro stock, pro stock bike, top alcohol dragster, top alcohol funny car, comp eliminator, super stock, stock, super comp, super gas...long day I must say

the best thing I saw all day though was the drag bikes...cuz 1 caught me by suprise...@ the end of the race this guy did like a low-mid 8s run @ 147mph...but 1/2 way down his run, every1 sees, that aint a bike, its a freakin snow mobile! that thing was awesome!...

i happened upon this car...the 400 hp TC u guys mentioned before, I was gonna get some more inside pics and picks of the engine and all, but the manager (the guy who had the keys) was on lunch...but here's a few shots i took of it

top fuel are the rails, funny car has bodies..... and they run 85% nitro methane not methanol

incredible stuff though huh.... ive been going to nhra since before i can even remember
