kinda weird seeing a vette with stationary lights. I think my favorites would either be the C2 or C5

They could so make it a nice car if they actually updated it more then just with looks...
I'm thinking mid engine, get rid of the leave springs, etc...

IF mid engine.. then vette has entered the true exotic sports cars category

two reasons why I would not get a 2005 Corvette.

    1) There are no door handles in the interior, just electric buttons. My first thought was what happens if the battery fails? Would the occupants be trapped? Well, you could remove the targa top, but not if the car were upside down. I did find a manual driver's door release - but it's in the trunk! A contortionist might be able to squeeze out of the driver's seat into the cargo area..

    2) By the way, the manual transmission must be put into Reverse before leaving the vehicle, according to the owner's manual, in order to avoid draining the battery. If you don't do this, all kinds of warning lights and buzzers go off.

yeah I noticed the button instead of a door handle thing. I definitely didn't like it. the outside handle is okay but I want a manual lever that I can pull when the battery fails or if I don't want to start up the car just to open the doors.

Since the C5 I think..C4 wasn't bad but..blah..i think it still had like high 200 hp or something? Thats terrible for a v8.

terrible for a v8 now, not back then. Max was 245 hp/ 345 ft lbs with the l98 I believe.

how could you even compare four door sedans to a sports car like the corvette?

i drove a 02 black corvette w/ borla exhaust but its a auto but it still pulls u back into the seat when u accelerate and i love it...

as for 05 i dun like the short ass but the front looks pretty sweet... if the front was like 05 and the rear is the 04 that would be excellent...
