    New Grand Prix is v8

The new Grand Prix, the GXP 5.3L v-8 puts out 290HP and 325lbs torque. P225/45s in front, P225/50s in back, some gas struts, other suspension upgrades. Sounds pretty cool, except its a Pontiac.

i test drove an auto GTO, i couldn't even get that thing to spin the tires with the traction control off. it was a pretty good ride though, nice pickup. it's the plain boring styling that keeps them from selling. i don't trust pontiacs for quality and longevity

It does not have a GM engine. The engine is taken from an Australian car called Holden.

Ummm, last I checked Holden was owned by GM, so it would in fact be a GM engine... and the 5.3 V8 is a GM engine, go to a GM dealership and ask them what engine is available in their trucks between 4.8 and 6.0 V8s...

See how one person brings up a different car, and makes everybody else start thinking of that different car.

the (new) GTO is a great car, refined and all. Don't mistake it for your everyday Pontiac.
