silver 1.8t rolla totaled... sad day...

    silver 1.8t rolla totaled... sad day...

    99 ford van ran a red light... @ about 40-50mph... SLAMMED into my driver/front side...

    had to be extracted from the car and shipped to a level 1 trauma center... couldnt even go to my local hospital cause it was only level 3...

    pain all over... back... neck... legs... hips... etc...

    driver of the van got ticketed... so totally wasnt the drivers fault...

    Very sorry to hear that man. Glad you are OK with no life threatening injuries. Hopefully, you will receive a very good compensation from the minivan owner's insurance so you will get a new ride pretty soon. Take care man.

    I will be rebuilding ... 6 months or so. :)

    This bitch is going to the cleaners on this one.


    BTW, it WAS NOT a minivan - it was a fullsize fleet style....

    not gone - i will be raping his insurance company and they are already dreading this. their driver was 100% at fault and he destroyed a show car (which they know) so they know they're in for a big one, i've alread yspoken to them on this...

    As I said, I will be rebuilding a 98-02 Rolla again (prolly stick to 98-99 just like my wrecked one) and start over. Investment isn't gone - a good many of the turbo and engine parts will be salvagable (already looked into it) -- we'll see what goes down though...

    Im going back to bed... im in quite a bit of pain.

    this time he is gonna buy a 5 speed to begin with, but he & I were talkin on the phone earlier be4 this was posted and he told me man, I'm F*cked up (be4 he told me of the accident) I thought his ass was drunk again cuz sometimes when we talk he's drunk and then he told me the Rolla was totaled and he was in some pain, and all he could tell me was that he's buyin another one and startin over...lol...thats a Rolla Trooper right there...holla @ your boy Travis...let me know if u need anything...take it easy 4 now, glad u r ok, sucks it happened on the way to go to vote this mornin' (only 2 blocks from his house)

    Dam that sucks sorry to hear about that, glad that you are okay. You would never believe me but the same thing happened to me some dumb ass old lady crashed into me and killed eveything that I had built. Prior to that I had just gotten my interior done too. Ever since that I have had a car payment thanks to here. But I got an attorney and got an okay settlement check. I bought an 03 corolla s in 02 and fixed it up even better then before. I did come a long way and I do miss my other car a lot. My advice is to go to the doctor right away and keep going to him for a couple of months and then collect of the damages. Good luck and remember that everything happens for a reason.

    Thanks for the support and yes... I'm totally taking these guys to the cleaners - not for anything other than replacement tho. Just not my style to push it beyond that - however they're gonna have to cough up damn near 30K between medical and replacement of my car (not to mention the remodification costs) if not more... I'm still kinda out of it - tried to sleep for a couple hours but thats about all I got - still in a bit too much pain...

    I'm gonna give it a shot and see what they have to say when they look at my car and if its not what I want to hear (which it probably wont be) then I'll bring my lawyer into this. I've refused to answer any questions directly with them already, lol ... questions like ' how would you rate your injuries? minor, medium or major ' and i flat out told them ' im not qualified to make that determination at this time ' hehe its the truth tho, heh - when yur still rippin off adrenaline - you dont have a clue wtf is wrong with you.

    Aside from the fact I feel like I got straight up gang initiation beat down I'm at least not cut or burned anywhere... I'm bruised like a mofo tho. Lucky I'm such a big guy. I'll keep you guys updated as info comes to me. Like some of you have said, at least I'm alive... Tomorrow - I go get a big steak dinner... (going through my whole realization of my mortality phase and I'm taking part in many pleasures of life I enjoy in gratitude to the big guy who kept me here, lol)
