i dont think any intakes for 98-00 and 01-02 are carb legal..

injen is carb legal .... or are theey

there is not a legal intake for 98-99, and injen is the only legal intake for the 00-02

This intake kicks arse. It came with all the hardware and even some extra stuff. It comes with 2 stickers, a license plate frame, and it sounds amazing on high rpms. I defently recommand it. I installed it on a 2000 corolla.

only problem is its not carb certified yet... so i gotta take it off in may for inspection...

i'll take some pics shorty, but basically this tub is small, it has the right sensor mounts, and also in the right place unlike OBX, it has all the mounting stuff, the end of the tube where the filter mounts to has a start of like a second tub inside of the tub, but it doesn't go all the way through the tube

Weapon R Dragon for the 01-02 is carb legal, but the maf sensor hole doesn't line up like most of the intakes out.

that sucks cause it sucks putting it back on.... its gonna take forever too, taking it off wasn't hard


i wonder if i can pay the shop to say its carb legal, cause i wanna pass inspection with out putting the stock box back on

I dont know about where you live, but out here... I passed with my EL Prototypes CAI on... some places dont care... and my emissions #'s passed even with the CAI on.

wait, so what's so special about this "secret" weapon intake? sounds like a random name generator! "alpha black zero!" lmao... anyway, any benefits besides sound? what's the difference b/t this and an ebay intake tube? (excluding the filter element which does make a difference)
