it doesn't make a difference about the full tank, it did it before when i didn't have much gas, but then i filled up at the gas station and it did it when i pulled out of the gas station.

also, i'm confused about the whole camber plate thing, need some more info, possibly pictures

    thanks guys

ok, heres my car, sorry about the night shots. so i'm guessing i would remove the plate that says "out" on it right? are you sure i don't need that for anything? also, if i set my suspension on the highest setting, mostly as a joke, could that cause any damage? it would be setting it like 3 inches higher than whats in the picture.

oh by the way, only the front wheels have the lowering springs, my back wheels are that low, thanks to sagging springs.

I was meaning to say the spring plate. You got coilovers so you don't need them. All you need is the top plate with the 3 screws. Make sure to put a big spacer before putting that big nut in the middle back cause there is an extra space w/out the spring plate.

for a spacer, could i use whats left of the stock bumpstop? i cut off about a half an inch of the stock bumpstop and put it in my strut so it would crash if when it bottoms out.
can i use the the foam bumpstop, or do i need something more rigid?

also, where can i get a lower rear tiebar like yours? i know it's custom, maybe another can be made for me? did it improve handling at all?

    wierd lowered car problem

ok, i just installed my dropzone struts and coilovers. suposedly it would let me have it stock hieght or lower it up to 3 inches, well, it's almost at the lowest setting now, because i was used to the look that my sagged stock springs gave me. it doesn't look all that low to be honest with you, i have about 2'" from the tire to the tire to the fender. oh yeah, this is the front suspension i've only done so far.
i have the passenger side lowe than the driver's side, reason being, that the driver's side will have my wieght on it and the auto tranny. it's not all the much difference between the sides, just a couple of turns on the coilovers.

anyways, it seems that when i make a right turn and give it gas during the right turn, sometimes, it sounds like the engine cuts out a little throughout the turn, like it stuggles. it never did this before. it did it today when i was pulling out of the gas station and i was on a slight hill turning onto a level street. it was wierd. is it because i have the car too low?

i saw a near 3in. drop on a 97 rolla today and you shouldnt even be able to see the tops of the tires. and for that gas thing, does it cut out on left and rights or only rights? my car cuts on only lefts and sometimes its so bad the car actually shuts off. im thinking the turn is crunching a fuel line or something so my car cant get fuel momentarily.

You can lower the front more if you take out the spring camber plates. Then add a spacer like in the back strut and thats it. About the car cutting out, is your gas tank full when that happens, or is it close to empty.

Got them on Ebay. Also if your gonna try what I told you about the front, you need strong metal spacers to replace the gap that once was the spring plate.

update. something is wierd with it. today it did it twice. i was pulling out of the bank, making a right turn onto the street, which is pretty much level. but, i was on a downward hill that goes onto the level street. when i made the turn, both times, the engine would kind struggle twice and then it would make the right tire spin for a half second. i wasn't going too fast and i wasn't pressing the gas anymore than a grandma would.
what up with that? it's been doing this ever since i lowered the car....should i just raise it to stock hieght and forget about the drop all together? i have about a 2 inch drop, you can see in the pics.

oh also, driving on the highway at about 60mph is scary because i've noticed that when i hit a bump, the streering wheel moves a hell of alot more than before, it would be easy to lose control if not hanging onto the wheel and you hit a bump,

that sounds very very unsafe man. Get it checked out my a shop to make sure you installed everything right. Also, I cant imagine dropzone coilovers being decent quality at all.

My friend Kel has a 1995 Corolla. The rear sags like a bitch on hers. I've noticed that when going over bumps or potholes - it's kind of like you get sucked to one side. VERY strange feeling. Feels like it tries to fishtale a little bit. When I drive her car, I intentionally hit every pothole b/c it's just so fuckin weird.

    Late,
    Trav
