I just replaced my Kumho tires with Falken ZE512. The Falkens have just under 1,000 miles now and they still don't grip or handle as well as the Kumhos. I have to slow down in corners to avoid the "Oh Shit" feeling. I could definitely corner faster and more predictable with Kumhos. Are the Falkens just not fully broken in yet or do they just suck? Thanks for the feedback.

Supposedly AVON is a good tire and has some decent reviews.

My continentals were 84 each and I love them.

lol..I paid about 35 bucks apiece for my Ziex 512s. They work great for me -- head and shoulders above the $60 Bridgestone Weatherforces I had on before..

proxes 4 all the way! :)

I've been running Proxes series tires for over 3yrs now. NEVER had issues with them. Used to run Fz4's but then switched to the 4's - the 4's are much quieter than the FZ's were.

I got my Falken Ziex 512's for 37 bucks a piece @ http://www.vulcantire.com/. I bought the 185/65/14. that's why they were $2 more. I suspect that he bought the 175/65/14 that came stock with the older corollas.

i got zeix-512 195/60/14 on my S rims. i feel some decent control with them. they were at least better than my old visa tires. i got them for 220(balanced,installed,new valve stems). i would say proxes4 are way better than ze-512, just look at the tread design on the p4's. they look more like autocross tires than all season.

Half gone with only 6k? Do you drive hard? So these tires suck and they don't last!

my bro owns an 04 TL with bridgestone and his tires went bald in 10 months time with 23,000kms (approx. 14,375 miles). so he complained to his dealer and they told him to talk to firestone, firestone told him to go back to the dealer and dealer said they cant do nothing. so he complained to honda canada and they told the dealer to deal with it! so... long story made short, dealer replaced his 4 tires. dealer said it was due to agressive driving! :) :) dealer asked him to pay C$500 for one tire and they pay for the rest. the service manager looked at his bald tires and he went... HOLY!!! :)

never seen tires go bald in such a short time. :)
