Found TRD Springs for 98-00 Rolla....

I was looking for springs and i came about this website which i also saw while looking for a TRD muffler...

    The Springs

They are TRD springs that lower 1.25 inches on the front and rear. Now is it worth paying 281.95 dollars with shipping and handling for free

Is that a good deal on springs? or Should i buy some other name brand spring that lowers it less then that or the same?

Idk how much cheaper the other names brands are...

Edit: I found Eibach Pro-Kit Spring Set for 235 with shipping and handling. It lowers the ride 1.30 inches front and rear on average.... But they also recommend getting Eibach Recommended Align. Kit for $66 for front and rear. I"m confused if i need it or not... i wanted the smallest drop i can find but .05 and .1 inches is not that much of a diff....

Any advice. I'm gonna be using KYB GR-2 Gas shocks as my struts and i'm thinking about getting a strut bar too. Also i found a TRD strut bar for 194 after shipping and i found strut bars for 49.99 and IDK if there's a diff....

Go on ebay, and find the dealer that sells TRD springs for $150. I think his id was mcgeorgeparts(or was it toyota), i bought my TRD kit from him.

Oh I bought my TRD Lip Kit from him, not the springs, but I imagine they're new and good - its a toyota dealer out on the east coast (mcgeorge toyota?).

From what I hear, KYB GR-2s are the way to go with TRD Springs because they closely match the TRD Struts. If you want stiffer, go with Tokicos.

I've got a friend with an inside contact at ground control that hooked him up with coilovers for his E46 M3, i'm talking to him to get a hookup on GC's for my rolla.

I'm defently gettin those struts but how come the springs are sooo much cheaper then anywhere else.... The cheapest trd springs i can find are 260 and from a dealer they should be 100 more not less......

I'm confused y they are so much cheaper...

    * shrug *

I bought my TRD Lip Kit at like 1/4 the cost of the original kit from TRD, and its authentic. I'd say the demand is too low for them to sell at original price.

No, just springs and struts. Your boots and other rubber pieces will transfer over.

so that they can sell you more stuff. unless your boots are falling apart, you're fine with what you have.

i'm running trd spring with kyb gr2 struts, and trd strut bar.

it's not stiff as tokico, but definetly a lot better than stock setup.

if you are putting the TRD strut bar for performance, you will be dissaponited, you won't feel any improvement. At least i dont' feel anything from it. it's there for looks in my opinion..
